MembersApp Support
Getting a key, registering members, monthly payments, and how to reach us.
ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੜ੍ਹੋ · Read in PunjabiWhat MembersApp does
MembersApp lets an organization's volunteers register members on an iPhone or iPad. A registrar scans the member's ID or types their details, the member gets a member number and a membership card, and the card and a welcome message go to the member over WhatsApp. Members who pay monthly dues show as active, and the registrar can see who still needs to set up their payment.
Getting a registration key
The app opens with a registration key. Keys come from your organization's administrator, not from the App Store. World Sikh Council volunteers can ask the Council for theirs.
A key that starts with PRACTICE opens the app in practice mode. Everything works, but nothing is saved, so new volunteers can learn the app safely.
Registering a member
- Sign in on the start screen by scanning your own ID. Every member you register is recorded under your name.
- Tap Scan their ID, or Type their details.
- Check the name, phone and address, answer the citizenship question, and confirm the member agrees to share their details.
- Tap Register. The card appears, ready to send to WhatsApp.
With no connection, the registration waits on the phone and is sent when the connection returns.
Monthly membership
Membership dues are paid on Stripe's checkout page, which opens in Safari. The app never sees card details. A member who already gives monthly on the organization's website can be linked to their membership from the Donors screen, with no new payment.
Deleting or correcting a member's details
Email worldsikhcouncil1313@gmail.com with the subject "MembersApp data deletion request", the member's name, and their member number or phone number. Details are removed within 30 days. The full policy is on the MembersApp Privacy Policy page.
